When is it good to be a renter?

When your plumbing bill is $370! Well, less than a week in the new place and we had plumbing problems. Ran the washer and all the water came out of the toilet and bathtub. Ugh, what a mess! Toilet works fine but the tub drains into the toilet so no showers! Hubby supects roots in the pipes. He was right. Roto Rooter came out and after a couple of hours finally got it all squared away. Oh, there was also a humongous clog in the bathtub drain. Eeeww! Can't wait to take a shower tonight! (by the way, my mother-in-law bought us a used washer/dryer so I can do laundry in my own home!!)
